Wow! That's quite a change. It looks great. I do like how the architectural elements like the original doors and stained glass windows were still used. Beautiful.

My wife and I have always wanted to convert a chapel/church into a home. The architecture is usually unique or interesting. Plus, if you don't change the sanctuary area too much, you'll have great acoustics!

Yes! I love the idea. The national commercial listings on loopnet.com have great finds, multi use commercial/residential properties like this one. I saw a church for sale in my favorite area, huge, for less than a residential property. But the pitfall for most people on buying commercial is that it requires 50% down.
