Trees=Modern Art
By beccajoYou can never have too much art, in my opinion. But you SHOULD make sure you don't spend too much on it. I made my friend Syrina take some snaps of trees today, 'cause I can't find my digicam. :(
Her instructions were to take photos of branches against the sky, so that at least two sides of the frame were sky and two sides were filled with branches.
I liked this one best. Shows off our chilly Minnesota sky perfectly!

I re-sized it to 6x4.5, and made a new file in Photoshop that was 12x9. I copied one version of the original snap as is, then copied and flipped it horizontally, copied another and flipped it vertically, then once more, and flipped it horizontally AND vertically.

Pretty sweet, eh?
Easy abstract art! I could now have this printed up for me at a copy shop, or if my home printer weren't so crappy I could do it at home. You could also print up the individual photos, 2 regular and 2 reversed, and mount them yourself.
For even more impact, I replaced the blue color with a bright pink.

Here's another set of tree photos.

Ooh! It's kinda snowflakey!
Gnarls Barkley, eat your heart out!
