Pottery Barn pt 2: More Twigs!

Ooh! How cute! Another great twiggy bit from the 2007 Holiday Catalog from Pottery Barn. A jewelry tree branch sculpture! Only $49, this would be a lot better than leaving your precious bits and baubles scattered across the bathroom counter!

i've been wanting to try DIYing this one too. i figured if i used real branches but coated them in epoxy resin or some sort of plastic, they'd be strong enough. and you could paint them any colour and arrange them in any way you wanted.

I was thinking about that too. I have used real branches in the past for jewelry displays, art, etc, and the ones this thin tend to be too fragile. Perhaps using some 'fake' branches....but I really love the patina on this piece. I did some bronze casting in college....hmm......
