Taaaaaape
By beccajoLike a zombie for brains, I loves me some tape. I fondly remember my dad's ever present roll of athletic tape, he claims that he invented the idea of post-its when he'd write memos on the tape then stick it to his sleeve. That's a bit of a stretch, but I think he passed his love of adhesives on to me.
Is tape a weird thing to love? Perhaps. But I am a weird and complex person, with great needs when it comes to sticking items together, decorating surfaces I don't want to paint, keeping boxes shut, or just having something fun and unusual.
Behold!
Measuring-tape Tape from the Museum of Useful Things. Only $9 for a 50-yd roll! Sweet! I can imagine about a billion and one uses for this stuff, everything from hanging pictures to blocking off rehearsal spaces. Why didn't my dad invent this?
Flourescent 'Duct' tape. Ooooh....niiiiiice! I need a pink version of this chick's outfit.
And my favorite of the bunch, lace packing tape!
Also in white, it's $10 for a 55yd roll.
