Clean slate!
By beccajoWell the big move happened this weekend. 20-inch snowfall and all, I have 90% of my stuff out of my old apartment.
There were some bumps and bruises along the way, but for the most part it went extremely well. I avoided two major car accidents, but I think my shocks may be shot on my car. I had a smashing time with my siblings(including my 11 month old nephew) who all came to town to assist with the move, and to be present for an award given to my dad by the Nike Coaches association. Then, Saturday night, I helped 'strike' the college's show.
I am so sick of picking up something, moving it somewhere else, and setting it down.
But I'm BEYOND excited to live in a totally new, totally MINE space.
Here's the view from the front door, as seen on Thursday. I will have to take a photo tonight to show the progress-but basically I haven't made any decisions about wall color, rugs, or anything yet. I'm just workin' what I got for now, and I'll see how it goes as I get settled in. More photos soon, I promise!
