I'm a glass artist that specializes in lampwork and fusing. I also work with macramé as shown in the picture. That's a suede and handmade glass bead beaded curtain. I also make art glass tiles for home or office or store. They can coordinate with glass sinks also. And on top of that I dabble in lighting too.

Hi beadbrains, Ilike your curtain. I guess it  took a lot of time to finish this curtain. Nice to meet you and thanks for accepting my friendship.

Thanks. There are no layered buttons but there are layered beads. All of the beads in this curtain have been made by me. There's about 300. All shapes and sizes. I'm glad you like it. Have you seen the article I wrote on how to make it in Craft magazine? Check it out. Thanks

Howdy All!
We're starting the week recycling! I'll be on DIY Jewelry Making demonstrating glass bead making with a Trader Joe's olive oil bottle. The bottle is the prettiest light pale green and makes great beads. Check your local listings for air times in your area.

Tuesday brings the newest issue of Craft magazine which has my How-to article on creating a fabulous macramé beaded curtain. The curtain is made with suede and my handmade glass beads and did I say it's fabulous? Oh yeah...and I show you how to make one for your own pad. It's a pretty cool project.

Check my web site www.beadbrains.com for listings of my upcoming glass and macramé classes around Southern California. You'll also find links to my goodies for sale on etsy and ebay. Thanks for your time and now go make something!

xo,
Cathi
