Best. Bed. Ever.

By badbadivy

Not too far outside of Nashville, my friend Ginger's boss Bill lives in a fantastic A-frame house with a tin roof. It's in the middle of the woods, on one of the highest points in Davidson County. When it's winter, Bill says he can look down all the way around him. He has a huge screened-in porch on the back, hardwood floors, and plenty of natural wood and stone.

All that's pretty fab, but this is what me fall absolutely in love with his house:

Yep, you're looking at that right- it's a bed suspended from the ceiling. In a loft in his screened in porch. Can you imagine anything cooler than that? Bill says when you roll over at night, the bed gently rocks you back to sleep.  Ginger and I laid down on it and it gently swayed, it didn't get too swingy- that was my only fear about the bed, but it didn't seem too terribly swingy.

Who's going to come with me to storm the house and acquisition his bed for a night? ;)
