Like a Roomba, but much cheaper.

If you're tired of sweeping your hard floors all the time, the Dustbunny might be the solution! For 15 bucks and some batteries, the website claims it will roll all over your hard floors and clean up all that dirt and hair that plagues your floors.

Since I'm the owner of 2 cats and one hairy dog, I totally want this. I think I'm going to wait, though, until I get my hardwood (or laminate, we haven't decided quite yet) floors down.

It goes under your furniture and hard to reach places. I have this buffet that I am always having to struggle with cleaning the hair out from under it.

What do you think, do you think it would work as promised?

Oh that is just too cute. I think it'd be worth it just to amuse my kitten!

I'm sure one could make their own replacement clothes for it too. Heck you could use masking tape!

This won't work very well. The ball would roll around aimlessly and it would take forever for it to pick up all the dust and hair from every corner of the room. Plus, you'd have to constantly change the electrostatic sheets as they got "full" and it would cost you a fortune to buy new ones all the time.

This seems like a silly gimmicky idea to me.

I have a Roomba and it doesn't work all that well on hardwood floors, it's really more for carpet cleaning. On hard floors (wood, linoleum, tile, etc) it just kind of "pushes" everything around. And honestly, I don't have that much trouble getting dustbunnies, hair and like up with a Swiffer, even in corners. I think the biggest advantage to this product would be how in can go under furniture. We have wood floors in our bedrooms and living room and let me tell you, it gets nas-tee under the beds, dressers, sofas, etc.

Very intrigued. For $15, probably worth trying. Thanks for the tip, I do belive I'll order one as soon as I get my laminate down. I have the sheddin'est shepherd mix, sweet dog, but her hair is just gross.
