Easter tablecloth, a day late.

By badbadivy

Several weeks ago, I bought a cute Easter tablecloth. When we got home, I had the kids put the items I bought away, and I forgot I had even bought the tablecloth. Until today, when I went to put a new tablecloth on my table. There, in the tablecloth drawer, was the new tablecloth.

"What the heck," I thought, "It's spring, and it's super cute." So I took a picture to share with you guys. (Excuse the wrinkliness, I literally just put it on my table)

My husband's response to the tablecloth? "Man, that's a chick tablecloth." Groan.

That's the problem with stuff like that!  My mom bought me an Easter Egg thingy...it's REALLY cute, and you use it to put your dyed Easter eggs on.  I also used it for the deviled eggs that I made on Easter Sunday.  Now, it's up in my no-man's land cabinet so that I can forget that I even OWN it!  Watch...here's a prediction:  Next year, I'll go out and buy some other stupid egg thingy for my Easter eggs, completely forgetting that I ALREADY OWN ONE!

Or you could borrow holidays from other religions/cultures. But only the fun ones with candy and fireworks and stuff.

I know, I've done that a million times, I hate that! I might just start decorating for random holidays throughout the year. "We need to keep the spirit of Labor Day alive year-round!"

Ha! Or how about when you buy things on sale after a holiday and then forget to use it the next year? I HATE that when that happens!
