More toilet talk

By badbadivy

I stumbled on the website for this toilet earlier and all I could do was go "huh"? When I was a kid, I had a huge fear of falling in the toilet and being flushed away. I can only imagine what little kids would think when they saw this toilet.

And check out this page.  It almost makes me think it's a parody, but it seems to be real. What do you guys think? Are gigantic toilets a good idea, or no??

My grandmother would dig this.  Much to my horror, she enjoys potty stories.  What she does there, what she thinks about, her triumphs, her fears, her criticisms and how long.  I think she's really afraid of falling off and likes the high ones so she can get back up.  But that's all I've gotten from 'tea time'.  At least that's all I'll admit to without regression therapy... safe place, safe place, safe place...

Huh... the tallness aspect I understand, my mum put in extra tall toilets when she built her house because my step dad's legs are a bit squiffy and it's easier to get up from a higher toilet. so on one hand, YAY,

BUT,

While normally I'm a fan of things that are slightly out of scale, ('cause then I feel like a giant or a tiny person... and what's not fun about that?) These loos are a bit, well, oogly....
