Install this in your powder room!

By badbadivy

Other people think it's creepy, but I think it's brill. It's a sink that goes on the back of your toilet, that uses the water that would be filling your toilet tank for handwashing purposes. It's a great idea for conserving water, and my kids would think it's so cool, they'd probably actually wash their hands after using the bathroom without me telling them to.

At $99-$119, I call it a bargain. Check it out here.  There's also free shipping until April 21, too. I might just order.

What do you guys think? Creepy, or fab?

It's creepy and clever.  And I say brill, or at least I will from now on.  It's nice like fabs.

When I first saw this, I thought, "Ew!"  But after consideration, I think it really is fab.  Except you can't store stuff on the back of the toilet (like air freshener).

It's clever.  It also would be hard to reach in most installations.

The toilet has had it's current configuration almost since the day it was invented by Thomas Crapper.  I think it is overdue to for a redesign.  Toto and Kohler  have done a lot of good in that direction.  I like the stainless steel hatbox model I saw once, but probably will opt for a wall hung model because it will fit better and be easier to clean around.

There was a set-up similar to this in the house I lived in in Japan. It was part of a Toto super toilet which also had a heated seat and a set obscurely labeled buttons.

I'm a 'press-all-the-obscurely-labeled-buttons-at-once' type of girl.

Who knew they even made built-in Bidet toilets with multi-directional spray and temperature control functions... not to mention the loud fake flushing noises.
Now I have to try and find one to post here....

LMAO, Chris, I'm the only <s>asshat</s> person in the South that says "brill", I'm pretty sure. ;)

I think it might make me feel like I was in an airplane bathroom, and I try to avoid those! ;)

I think it's brilliant AND creepy.

(Do people in the South actually say "Brill?")
