simple project
By atrophiemy home lacks decorative items. i found a nice vase at Goodwill for $3 and got a bag of decorative opalized glass 'rocks' on clearance at Michael's for $3. the vase had some scratches on the lip area, so i took some blue painter's tape and some etching cream and etched the glass up there. picked some fallen birch branches off the grass outside, and it's done!
now if i only i could find a place to put it! that's what happens when don't own any furniture...
and an update on my shower...i got this 2-part refinishing epoxy, but i'm not sure if i'll need it after using porcelain touch-up glaze in the trouble spots. i re-caulked the base where the bath meets the tile, but i still want to re-grout everything, and i have to caulk in some other places. and i need to paint.

i got nice chrome hooks and a semi-opaque vinyl liner...don't know if i'll put up an actual curtain. an aqua-coloured vinyl liner would be perfect, i'll have to see if i can find one.
it's impossible to photograph my shower in full-length because i can't get far enough away from it, lol.
cheers everyone!

thanks a lot :) actually, what's really sad is that most of the grout is falling out or can just be picked out with a razorblade. damn apartment budgets...can't hire a decent handyman to do a good job.
i love Michael's!!
