I spend my days traveling across the U.S. hosting the Internet show “Ask the Decorator.” In each episode, I visit an artist, designer, company or industry expert to discover the best products and techniques to use in our homes. You can watch all of the episodes at my web site, askthedecorator.com.
The things I learn during my visits are pretty shocking. For example, did you know that you should smell the candle lid not the candle when deciding which scent you like best, or that silk sheets keep you the warmest in the winter? Neither did I. But now that I know, I won’t embarrass myself anymore by sticking my nose in the wax. Plus, I now have an excuse to buy those shiny, silk sheets that always seemed extravagant.
But my travels aren’t all about gathering the facts. Along the way I have lots of fun, which you can see by visiting my blog, blog.askthedecorator.com. On my blog you’ll find behind the scenes footage along with my decorating commentary. So stop by. Tell me what you think. I want to see you there.
