Just trying to get some colorful ideas and move away form beige and boring. As a web designer I am drawn toward bold graphic shapes and clean lines. I love the thrift store look but somehow I can never put myself to go all the through with it.

I do have some unique pieces in my place. I have a drafting table that was first my fathers than mine and now serves as a table. I have a table in my kitchen that my father made from a piece of wood and an old sewing machine as its base. I have some other pieces as well but those are the most sentimental to me. My kitchen table was in my family sense I was a kid and I was drawing on it with my brother.

My style right now is minimalist and modern and very west elm inspired. Because I am an artist I refuse to by ready made art and that is where I am at today. I must finish the paintings I have in mind and hopefully that will ad the much needed color. i am also torn between a wall color and a mural.  Ahh I need help! But that is why I am here to get some great new inspiring ideas.

Hi arnita, nice to meet you. I do painting a bit too. And sewing, and designing, knitting and crafting. My try love is decorative pillows.

Hi arnita,

The Hepburn print in my room is a dot matrix printout I made at the Rasterbator: http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/

 Thanks for your comment!
