My (kind of) organized closet!

First post, hooray! I just finished getting all of my clothing back into my closet (60% of it eventually ends up on my bed/floor), so I figured i'd take some pictures and share.
I re-did my bedroom probably about two years ago, but it still makes me proud. I decided to opt out of pre-made storage units for my closet and instead design it in a way that I could really get the most use out of it. Everything I used was either purchased at Home Depot or Walmart.

Here's a close-up of the outside of my closet door. I thought they were too plain by themselves, so I opted for these neat accent pieces!

925studio: Thanks! I didn't think about that. I don't think i have anything on knotted silk cord but i'll check to make sure none of my necklaces are suffering. Caya123: I started with one color hanger, but that didn't work out so well. I definitely agree with you though! Hopefully I'll be getting my own place soon so I'll try and start over with white, or wooden if I'm lucky. onemontana: They're definitely from Home Depot, but I don't remember how much they cost, what brand they were, etc. We stained them and added the accents on our own with wood glue. They were meant to be bifolds (that's why they're thin), but we just hinged them both to the frame instead.

You would reduce the cluttered-feeling if you got all-white plastic hangers, and got rid of the multi-colored ones. I think that's a nice job of organizing! It would be beyond me, I'm afraid! Good job!

Great job on the closet! Just thought I'd throw in the tip about hanging necklaces... It's fine as long as they are not strung on silk knotted cord (like pearls) because hanging those causes them to stretch out.
