My family just moved into our first home. Decorating it has become an ecclectic & passionate past-time of mine. I was gifted my choice of a living room set, which has gone a long way towards getting our home comfortable and in order, but there's alot still to be done! It's exciting and has loads of promise.

 The house is alot like my dream house. It's a cozy 2 bedroom with lots of hardwood floors. The kitchen has a center island where the range/oven lives. There's a brick arch passthrough from the kitchen over a buffet into the dining room that's charming & fun. The living room has great built in shelves, a big bay window, a smaller side windowseat and some nice recessed lighting. The bedrooms are goodsized and have great wood fittings & louvered doors.  I've already tackled some painting, but it's only the beginning!

I've got the good fortune of having a fairly diverse range of family-rendered art, and most of it is good! :) So, it's coming together in here, and I can't wait (or hardly imagine) what it will be like in a year.
