My sense of style has alot to do with coziness, comfort,and creating a definite warm feeling through the use of color. Because I rent my place, I can't really remodel or paint the walls, so most of my improvements are designing my rooms and decorating.

In my home, I have only 2 items that I bought Retail. Our living room loveseat recliner, and our bed. Everything else was found at  garage sales and thrift stores. I like finding new uses for cast-off items that others don't want.

East-Bayers: Join freecycle.org, it's a re-use community where members post items they wish to give away. I've seen some gorgeous furniture and design pieces literally given away for the sheer cost of picking the item up! 

I'm on a kick to try to create definite color themes in each of my apartment's rooms. The living room is definitely Reds, browns and warm Gold tones.

I hope to post pictures soon of my blue and brown inspired bedroom!
