My husband and I are new owners of a 55-year-old rancher in the foothills of Colorado. Projects include major kitchen and bathroom remodels, outdoor landscaping and general updates to a place that came with great bones.
He's a Mac consultant for the publishing/graphics industry, and I'm a copywriter. I work in communications for an international NGO.

In the last 9 months my job has taken me to Latin America (4x), Africa (2x) and Asia (once). While I love seeing the world, it is good to be home. But it's been hard to be of any real help to my hubby, whose job it is to head up our kitchen reno.
