Hey! I moved to downtown San Diego about 2 years ago. Before this, I was at the Beach, but I must say, I love the city life much better! Lots to do, and still close to the parks and outdoor activities.

The challenge with living downtown is that all the condos come in the same cookie-cutter tan carpet with bare walls. We ripped out the carpet and installed hardwood, and installed a brick wall in the living room to give it an old NYC loft feel. I'll be posting pics later....

Hey there, I'm looking to do this same thing to my place. Where did you get the think bricks and was it horribly expensive?

Yes - we live right by the stadium. During the game, we turn on the TV and mute it. We then watch it and listen to the voices and cheers coming from 30,000 people. Very cool...

I love all those downtown condos. Which building do you live in? I used to work in downtown and that was great, but now I'm in Mission Valley. Not so much fun. Are you walking distance to the ballpark? I saw three games last week. Pads won every one I saw. Hope they win today! Alabaster
