Hi! I'm Ray Alderman and I'm in Central Virginia. I'm a hobbyist hacker of things. I've usually had a day job that was on the phone talking to people and at the end of the day, wanted to do something with my hands and create stuff. Dabbling in electronics, robotics, welding, woodworking and design. Design wise I love the classic lines and simplicity of the Arts & Crafts movement, but like using more industrial materials like steel, concrete, copper pipe and plywood.

Ben,
Heh. Does the system throw out a warning that someone is uploading a bunch of pictures and sucking up server space? I was worried I would hit a post limit at any point. I posted it into the contest entries and it seems to have been a regular blog post as well - any way we can cross post into how-tos? Doesn't seem to show up there.
