I am color-challenged.

By TangoMango Bedduvet_large

I am color-challenged!!! I need your ideas and advice. I got a platform bed in a dark wenge color and I hope to make my bedroom have a contemporary elegance feel. The bed I got looks something like the picture below. I also plan to get the gray duvet and pillow cases as shown below. I also plan to get Ivory damask stripe bed sheets and pillow cases. I was hoping to add a splash of color in the blanket(either burgundy, copper or deep orange), however, I am afraid that that might detract it from the elegance look I am after. Do you think that it would?

I plan to have the matching splash of color hanging behind the bed as a panel so the color won't look lonely in the bedroom. But, there is a catch... I currently have light sage » READ MORE

Hey Bruno, the site you gave me required me to log in and such. I found a video that explains bookmarkets and how to use it. Turns out that the drag and drop feature of "Curbly It!" bookmarklet probably works for Firefox. For IE, watch the video link above. However, in IE7 in Vista, you would have to:

  1. Right-click on the "Curbly It!" link in My Clippings section and select "Add to Favorites"
  2. Browse websites as you normally do.
  3. When you come to a page with an image you would like to Clip it to Curbly, click on the Favorites Icon () and select "Curbly Scrapbook" and that should bring up a page for you to select the image to save to your Clippings.

Hope this will help your IE users in using the bookmarklets. :)

Hey tango,

thanks for the feedback on clippings... they should work in every browser, but the process for adding the bookmarklet is different for each browser. Here's a good page with videos on how to do it for each browser (the page is from another site, but the process is the same).

Thanks!

we really need to see the rest of the room to make an informed decision- but it sounds like a no go on the orange- lets see what else you have in that room before deciding
