DiY Gem Lamp
By StillSubtleDanceSo I recently purchased some new bedding from World Market and I have been looking online at different lamp bases/shades. I was having a hard time finding exactly what I wanted and then it occurred to me, "I should totally make one!" So I started googling DiY Lamps and came across this great curbly page! It inspired me to make this project. I haven't yet purchased all of the materials but it's looking like I can do it for about 20 bucks. I'm stoked! My friend Nick and I are going to go shopping for everything soon and maybe hit up the flea market for materials for more DiY projects! Summer is a really great time for me to do projects like this because during the school year I am just so busy with classes, lessons, ensembles, and my church job that all of my free time is devoted to sleep! more on this project soon! I put a couple of pictures of the materials I'm going to use.
