Window covering ideas?
By StillSubtleDanceI am about to move into a new apartment and I'm having a hard time figuring out what I want to do with the windows. I'm leaving the walls white because I don't want to have to paint them back when I move out. I have a picture of my bedding below. I want something different but not too extravagent. And inexpensive hehe. any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
My first screen printed T...
By StillSubtleDanceUsing a technique I learned about from a fellow curbly-er, I made my first couple of screen printed tees!! The one shown is my favorite. :) It was pretty easy and took hardly any time at all aside from letting the mod podge dry over night. I messed up a little bit in one spot because the peice of cardboard I used apparently wasn't completely flat....whoops.
Finished DiY Lamp
By StillSubtleDanceI meant to take pics of the whole process, but didn't remember to until I was already done. oops! Well, here is how the finished product looks. A little hard to see, and much cooler looking in person, but I am pretty excited about it! Everyone seems to really like it who has seen it so far.

Creative Frustration
By StillSubtleDanceI wish there were some way for me to get paid to stay at home and just "create". I hate being stuck at a desk all day. I'll suddenly get inspiration to paint or draw or write, aaand I can't. By the time I get home I have so much else to do I hardly get time to do any of that and then I'm exhausted and I have to go to sleep only to get up and repeat the process again. Wall Art
By StillSubtleDanceWellp, probably a year ago I saw some really cool wall art that I fell in love with. It was on a stretch canvas and it was kind of a mixed media sort of deal. Different fabrics made up the background and there were little birds or insects stitched on it as well as some things screen printed on it (from what I could tell). Mirror that wont empty my bank account?
By StillSubtleDance I really want to buy a mirror for the living room wall in my new apartment next year. I loved a few that I saw at Urban Outfitters a while back but I just couldnt bring myself to spend the money. Any ideas for places I could find something that isn't cheap quality, but easier on the budget? I am looking for something unique, so any DiY ideas are always a good idea as well.
