Wall Stickers

I saw some of these wall stickers for sale in a museum gift shop in Rome. I think they are beautiful! There are some very Georgia O'Keefe-ish poppies, along with a bunch of other designs for just about any room of the house. I think the animals are my favorite.

Cardboard Furniture

I like to think that I'm a pretty open-minded person that likes to try new things. However, I have never been able to bring myself to use a beday. It seems like people appreciate them just about everywhere outside the U.S. In fact I've even seen one or two in the U.S., as well. Help me solve a mystery

My husband and I are in Italy for about 3 months. We have a great apartment, but we are both a little mystified by these things that are in both showers. It looks like some sort of emergency device, given the red tab and all, but other than that, we have no idea what it could be for. Can anyone enlighten us?

I never really considered putting red and orange together, but I think it works quite well. I really like the dark wood and leather that accents the bright colors and brings balance. hardwood floors
By Sijbrich My husband and I would like to install hardwood floors throughout parts of our house someday. We both like darker, earthy wood, but that's about all we know. Does anyone have any experience with installing hardwood floors that can give us some sort of starting point to our investigation into the subject matter? I was having a serious problem with pictures sliding down the fridge because the magnets weren't strong enough. Painting the family room
