It doesn't hurt to have a few quirky personal touches!

At least I don't think so...

Since building your house yourself takes a lot of time but not necesarily my full attention, I end up daydreaming about things that you might not normally do in house like run compressed airlines to each floor.

This might seem a waste of time but it was simple when the house was just framed in and I don't have to drag an aircompressor around or have a mile of lines snaking through the house.

I also added a water spicket on the top floor in case of fire. I don't have little ones to worry about flooding the place or I would have stuck it up high but in the unfortunate event I would ever have a fire a hundred foot hose will reach anywhere in the house from there including the attic.
