I bought this one about 2 months ago. Fairly inexpensive, pretty comfortable and (so far) durable. I'm happy with it. I can't afford to spend a pile of money on a really expensive chair, so this one really impresses me. http://snipurl.com/2auho  [www_globalindustrial_com]

I've gotten several great office charis from companies that were going out of business or moving. Look at downtown offices, or if you know someone working in an office who might know who's doing what, that could be a resource too. A lot of times they just throw out perfectly good chairs, or they might sell them for a couple of bucks. More than once I've found one chair with one thing I wanted and another similar chair with another feature I liked... so I took both and bodged together a nice chair. Sometimes they take some tweeking, like working with the hydrolics (I try not to mess with that tho, just make sure the chair goes up and down easily) or adding some screws (if you've got a screw going through a plastic piece that's missing, it's probably ripped out the threads so find a comparable piece of hardware and get some good adhesive and it should work just fine). If you find a chair you need advice on fixing up, I can help you with more specific problems. Sorry, I don't have the money to buy any actual furniture, so if you're looking for somewhere retail, definately can't help you there.

Good Luck!
