Hay i made something like this by cutting flowers out of old dvd cases! i had hundreds of them and the cds were in books. I just hot-glue-gunned them together and dangled them from a regular lampshade, with the actual shade removed from it. i'll post it so you can see. (i did it like two years ago and never heard of or seen this guys' work, so you have permission to rip the idea off of me ;)
