I agree. I've re-gifted bottles of wine when appropriate, like as a hostess or house warming gift. And as for the 'no pens rule' I say 'boo'. I love pens.

I don't think it's tacky to re-gift. Especially if you think someone else may enjoy the re-gifted gift more than you ever would or if you're working with an extremely tight budget. Thanks for sharing DIY Maven!
