You know, I did not play with Lego's too much as a child, but my brothers did (I was too busy taking things apart to see how they worked).  Now as a Mom I think they are one of the greatest thing for kids to work on their imagination!  My boys built all of their ship models and then super glued them together for display pieces.  Really cool stuff.  I don't think the computer games are as fun as the real deal, and they don't get the kids to engage their creativity.
