Thanks for the input. That sounds neat. Anytime you say pink though, I think extremely pink. I like the idea. I think I'll explore some green shades. If you ever have any pics, I think that would be great.

We just built a desk at home, the legs were the tough part, but my wife found new desk legs she liket at ikea:
next we took a peice or 3/4 birch plywood, cut it down to size, rounded off the edges with a handheld router and stianed it pink (trust me it looks better than it sounds). Go to any woodworking shop and they will have a ton of stains, to match your decor. With the wood left over we made matching shelves.
