I found that at http://www.nobodyandco.it. I really think it's the solution for ALL. I just need the money yet...

Imagine : you want to read a book, and fortuitously your chair is full of books. A dream !!

I have purchased ikea boxes for little money. You can buy different shapes to accomidate different sizes. Several color choices.  It protects books and you dont' have to look at them.  Also, you can catagorize each box.  I then put those boxes on plain pine shelving bought at Menards or other home improvement store for $15.

Sounds to me although you just need a great big bookcase! Check out the bookcase tag for ideas. There should be no problem with purchasing a bookcase for cheap... try Ikea for example. There are heaps of contemporary designs out there. Many can be formatted to expand according to your selection size. Your girlfriend can also use the space to showcase her knickknacks... (: It's a good thing!

Wow, the Sticklebook solution really please to me. I think I could use it for the kitchen, even if it isn't convenient for very many books.

We'll find...

Those book-shelves are beautiful. I had one made for RV last year by Jim from 'This into That'. It looks even better once you start putting objects on it.

I have exactly the same problem... I gave in, sigh, and sold some of the books I never read.  If someone has a solution to this, I need it too!  Since it's hard to compress volume, can you try going stylish instead?  (unfortunately, that probably means bigger $$)
