You're awesome, DIYMaven.  And you must be reading my mind.  Today I had to trash some flowers that had grown stale in water.  I wasn't thinking and tipped the vase into the kitchen sink.   The smell was HOR-I-BLE *sings*.  Vinegar to the rescue, thanks so much for the heads up!
