Hahaha I've actually earmarked (well, bookmarked, in this case) several ideas (most of them yours!) that I want to try out--I will definitely put up some pictures once I do it! It's just insane the amount of time I spend just cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, dishes, and running other errands, and this is pre-kids era! There are some days I just 'screw it' and do FUN stuff, but I can't stand mess! And cooties. Anyway, as I was saying.
My original plan for the large living room wall was to have Mr. Bacon bring home some scrap wood and make a large frame over which I would stretch a piece of canvas, and just paint something large. Then I saw the 3D tiles and I thought EASY!CONVENIENT! lol But I still want to do my large canvas thing too. However, I think two large wall decorations would be a little much for one room, eh? Oh I know... I'll just put one of them over the bed! :D Yay. Ok, will update you when one of them is done!

Congrats on the couch! I liked that subtle lime green too. Should work nicely with brown slipcovers. Plus the 1/4 clock... that would be fab! If you do get the tiles, make sure you post pics. Not only would I love to see them, Bruno, the godfather of Curbly, would be interesting in seeing a Curbly member using ideas found on the site. Very exciting!

Hey! I actually like this! I've always preferred analog clocks and watches to digital, and this just looks so right.
I might have to set one of these babies up in the living room... Remember I said on your post about the 3D wallpaper tiles that I was going to get a pack? Well I originally wanted brown, but now that we're getting a new couch (well, secondhand from Craig's List, but new for us) and new slipcovers for the couch (Ikea Nikkala discontinued couch), I'm thinking I might get the green 3D tiles instead, because I want brown slipcovers for our couch. I think the orange hands on this clock would complement the lime green, yes? I think it would lend some much needed cohesiveness to our right now nonexistent colour scheme... Anyway. I am excited for our living room to be finally coming together!
