My boy would love this. Living in Seattle, most of the days are rainy.  But I can't imagine where I would fit them in the house.  :(

My floor below this is stained concrete. They've never fallen. Of course, a matt could be placed below if you'd like. As for installation, pretty simple (if you buy this same stuff from ikea). There are two bolts holding both the ladder and rings (see the image) going right into the ceiling. In order to make sure the bolts hit wood and not just sheetrock, I put a 2x4 into the ceiling and hung the stuff from that. Took me all but 20 minutes to hang this stuff up, then paint to match the ceiling. The blue wall ladder is just 4 bolts, screwed directly into the wall.

My concern would be the surface under these energy burners, and then, does this site ever give some idea of how these projects are done?
