I can totally see rich college kids buying those and totally showing them off, though. And then tossing them once they move out. Oh, hey! Cleaning supplies... There ya go.

BTC...if it got wet! HA! Never thought of that, but you are 100% right. Soggy AND heavy!!

$3320?!?!? What the hell for? Honestly, some people... Anyway. It doesn't look particularly comfortable, and it doesn't just look goofy, it looks downright messy! It looks like a pile of laundry someone forgot to pick up from the laundromat, and the owner just tied it up to be tossed out... And yeah, I bet it's pretty damn heavy. Not to mention if you spill something on it, it would be wet for days. Gross. I mean, I guess you could cover it, but then that would defeat the purpose of showing off them 'cool' rags, eh? Boo!

While your at it you could make the Human Nest Chair using an old papasan chair!

Honestly, I think it's ugly. I'm all about recycling but to me, this one says "Look at me, I'm so rich I can put a pile of garbage in my living room, isn't that droll?"
But I do really like the idea of it being a "treasured chest of memories." I still think quilts work well for that, but I'm open to new ideas. I hope someone comes up with an attractive way to do this.

I think I like it; but, agree that it's probably less than comfortable. I bet you could make the "frame" with an old chair with most of the legs cut off.

I'd really *like* to like it. But I'm with you, leaning toward goofy. :)

But this is a NEAT pile of clothes! ;) My thought is it's gotta be heavy...no? I dunno, I love the recycling aspect of it, but, at this point, I'm leaning toward 'goofy'.

This can't be very comfortable at all. Ever sit on a pile of clothes?
