In Northwest Tennessee, Yard-sales have become a work of art. It's amazing. The flea markets we have over here really are what you describe. Nascar metal signs, Seen on TV products and country prints. At Yard Sales, I've found several diamonds in the rough that meet more with my style of a Lava Lounger.

In Atlanta, they have a monthly antiques market called Scotts http://www.scottantiquemarket.com/index.html I have also been to a few fleas...I went to one in Charlotte, NC called the Metroliner and it was fantastic, I did not see any Nascar! In Cali, the Rose Bowl Flea market is the same deal, all collectables and antiques... I just discovered a weekly one here, pretty close by at a Drive IN Movie, but I suspect it is mostly tube socks and other crap but I want to give it a shot... Do you not have a City Search there? or even Craigs List might list them?

I keep seeing all these cool flea markets on all of those TLC "Make my house better" shows.  I'm just not catching that vibe from the flea market in Triune.  I wish that I knew of a good one where I could find some really neat treasures.

I'm originally from Jackson, Mississippi, and our flea market is pretty cool.  Lots of comic book dealers, furniture, Depression glassware.  A lot of it is really over-priced though.

I just went to the Mobile, AL flea market about a month ago, and it was fantastic.  Lots of food vendors, animals for sale, records, comics, books, etc.   It was really great.
