not by a long shot.  the only one i would say i definitely have is a "donation station," which is contained in a set of shelves in the garage.

does a box containing all paper-craft materials count as a "gifting station"?

perhaps you could call my tower of stacked file and office-supply drawers -- adjacent to the incoming mail pile -- an "administration station," but this is not where my computer lives, which is the main site of administration (in the form of bill paying, scheduling, etc.).  it might be nice if these things were closer together, but i like having my laptop within reach of the couch, and my file drawers don't make good end-tables .... although that's an idea!

i suppose my "communication station" is virtual.  when the housemate is not around, i voicemail or e-mail (or leave a full-page note in marker in a conspicuous spot on the floot), and we have a shared calendar (through google) and task list (through "remember the milk").

the two things i feel like i really need are a "destination station," because using a dining room chair is untidy, and a "creation station," since i realized recently that the absence of a designated workspace for sewing (i.e.: a surface that i don't have to clear off in between sessions) is a big contributor to my not getting any sewing done.

by the way, people who are interested in threads like this should also be reading lifehacker.com. it has lots of advice, reviews, etc. for doing the "have to" stuff more efficiently in order to make more time for the "want to" stuff.
