I found this trunk by a dumpster. It had a big crack in one side and a hole drilled through the other, so I couldn't paint it. I already had a big tub of modpodge at home so all I spent was 7 dollars on two rolls of wrapping paper. It hid the hole and the crack flawlessly. I chose the light blue damask because my house is sortof light and airy. I thought red looked pretty cool but it didn't work for my place. Whenever I find something that looks sortof industrial or well-used, I try to set off it's ruggedness, thus the pretty paper against the distressed metallic edges of the trunk.
