Photo Comments - Our plumber is a dear old fellow who calls this spiffy high-tech high-efficiency Italian furnace boiler (and external hot water heater) my "Ferrari" (It's red, it's Italian, it's highly engineered). Hiis favourite joke is that the new furnace will "hardly burn any oil at all -- if you want some heat, just open a bottle of wine and pop your head around the cellar door and whisper sweetly, that'll get it all fired up!" Me, I'm just hoping it'll give me some significant energy savings compared to the 30+-year-old old-style boiler that it's replacing!
