I'm a new teacher with my own 2 room aparmtent and (finally!) the freedom to arrange my space as I wish.  iI have no background in interior design other than flipping through IKEA catalogs; still, it's somethign I'm interested in and enjoy working on in my time off.

The apartment's in the 2nd floor of a house and has these fiunky slanting walls, which I left white when I repainted the rest of the living room a deep green color.  I think it looks pretty sweet despite my lack of technical painting proficiency (and patience).  

I recently bought an armoire and a massive houseplant.  Thanks IKEA!
