Here we have Jenny's before ottoman she found at Goodwill. Her ambitious piece was done in five class sessions and that includes sewing the top band on upside down, ripping it out and re-sewing as well as sanding and painting the feet.

She found this bird toile fabric she loved at Arhaus and bought enough to do the chair that goes with it. Word today is that her husband was thorougly impressed with her upholstery finesse. Again, so much to learn in a small project. Next, we're moving on to boxed and corded cushions--you all already know how to do those!

What an awesome transformation. Reminds me that I need to get busy on the ottoman I got at a local thrift store so we can use it for it's intended use. Which is to rest your feet on istead of as it is now....upside down with the stuff in it to reupholster it.
