Here are some things people swear by to clean up oil which I assume would also take care of pet stains. Mineral spirits, Dawn Dishwashing Detergent, Powder Tide w/ bleach, Disc Brake Cleaner or Carb cleaner form an Auto Parts store.

jasony-thanks for the confirmation that this really works. I haven't tried it yet. I'd love to have a sleek and uncluttered garage-too much furniture stacked up for my tutorials and such. :(

I've been scratching my head thinking of what type of finish to apply on my workshop floor.

I did this several years ago for my 2 car garage shop (it took 2 cans and about $120). I used the beige color. The shop, with 4 double-bulb florescent lights, is REALLY bright at night, and the floor looks great. highly recommended.

I know. Our garage is uneven and collects dampness but I have a friend whose husband wants me to come over and help him do it for a Star article. I thought it would be hard but this looks really do-able.
