The SoundShelf

Form follows function and the form of the Soundshelf literally functions as a piece of furniture, well, if you consider a bookshelf to be furniture. Designed as a L-shaped shelf or a standing DVD tower, both styles are modern and sleek.
Today this is only in the concept stage but the idea is to eliminate the need to hide or disguise speakers in an otherwise well designed room. Allowing speakers to do double duty as a bookshelf or a standing DVD shelf turns function into furniture. Polish designers Witek Stefaniak and Anielka Zdanowicz have designed these dual functioning speakers to proudly fit into any decor, a very practical and space saving idea for the times.
