bold thick black frames clustered would be adorable. A simple white duvet with accent pillows in bright pinks and black either in fun designs, stripes or dots would look awesome. If you arrange you furniture differently (try angles and pulling furniture away from the wall it makes the space look a lot bigger. My bedroom used to be this color and I painted all of my trip black and had white and black silk screens. Good Luck!

I'm a BIG fan of black and white graphic prints with solid bold wall color.  DIYMaven pointed me toward a toile from Waverly and I've been mad over it since.
Ikea has this great duvet called "Mistel".  $12 gets you two pillow cases and a duvet cover in fabulous black and white swirls.  But you probably already know that as you've got the Malm dresser.

Anywho, I think the reason it would look slick is because the color is so intense that black and white would clean it up a bit.  Clean lines, no clutter help tone it down some maybe.

My (very small)  bedroom is Poppy Red, and it looks fabulous with a white duvet cover, white curtains and all black pictures frames and accents... So I'd probably carry the same idea over to your room. Lightest light pink or white tailored curtains, and bedspread - anything too ruffled or complicated will make it look waay too cluttered, and then have fun with "heavy" brown colored throw pillows, mirror frames and accents. It will still be a pink & brown room, but the white/light pink will keep it grounded.

Oh, and it really needs something dark brown & furry! :-)

Wow, that's very brave to choose a color like that :D
I would have dekorated with things in black or in white, and maybe some things in another shade of pink...

While I'm thinking about it, you should check out http://urbanoutfitters.com for a lot of cool stuff. They have some really nice vinyl wall art that would fit your room.

Go check out http://cheap-threads.com.  I think if you're bold enough to paint a room pink, you can handle some of these fabrics and maybe get inspired.  This one is item number DNDYP and sells for $7.95/yd.  Most fabrics are reasonably priced as well.  Have fun with everything they have and do lots of browsing.  The desk can always be repainted depending on your fabric choice.  Be sure to mix your patterns, which I would keep mainly on the bed.  The curtains I would leave light and airy.  Have fun.

Hey LPS! I don't know if you saw my post on this very fabulous on-line room planner, but it might help with arranging your furniture. For inspiration on color choice, you might want to visit a local fabric shop--to see what manufacturers are doing with pink these days. Hey, you might even find a pink print you really like to decorate around--maybe make a pillow out of it!?!? Good luck! And be sure to post the results!!
