Organic Dry Cleaning...really isnt what it sounds like

My room needs help

i recently painted my room pink, now im having trouble arranging is with my desk, bed and drawers.... my other problem is i cant figure out what colors to use to decorate...i was thinking the pink walls with brown comforter and brown window panels...but im not sure it will be too heavy for a bedroom...i do spend alot of time in my room so i want to feel good in it....basically for the colors i was thinking brown white and pink....let me know if you have any advice :) thanks »MORE

Okay, Gemini...thumbs up on the hot pink for your sign and the ethnic-inspired clipping you took from Flickr. Gemini is the sign of Twins, so you need some contrast, but with forethought. Your room has about 5 different people's personalities in it (typical Gem dilemma). You will want to redecorate often, so you might go with a neutral wall, and pair chocolate brown with either hot pink or sky blue bedding and pillows. Limit your color palette and create the variety you crave with different fabrics, pillows, stripes, a mix of mod and ethnic patterns. You're the Twins sign, so you need pairs of things. Replace that dresser with two narrower ones, hang 2 similar pieces of art, and confront those Gemini commitment issues by hanging your mirror  - LOL. Driven Geminis need to soften up, so hang some raw silk-ish curtains to soften the windows. Hide your computer somehow, or as a tech-crazed Gemini you'll be IM-ing all night long!
