My style is... eclectic. I love mixing found objects with character with an interior that highly functional for my lifestyle.

I love that my home is versatile. I'm constantly playing with the look and subsequently the feel of my home.

In a search to find a more environmentally friendly alternative to vinyl which in turn was a more affordable/more vegetarian friendly alternative to leather, I've come across Pointe International Inc. They have eco-friendly faux leathers in some nice colors, textures and patterns. Their eco-friendly goods are PVC free, breathable (which vinyl really isn't), highly durable (many tested at 100,000 double rubs before they show wear!) and there's a few that have very soft hand to them. Rockin' good times.

I've recommended them for multiple projects. Sadly, I don't know if non-designers can get them, or if you need someone who is affiliated with a business in the industry to purchase. However, you can check out their website » READ MORE

Graffitti Artists Work = Contributers to My Home's Art

I'm on a budget. My home is important to me. Art is important to me. When you throw these things together, walk into my apartment, and check out whats hanging on the walls, you see the results of artwork on a budget. Most of the pieces are my own work. I wish I didn't have to resort to my hanging so much of my own work, but dang it's easy on the budget.

One day I realized that I could use someone else's graffitti as sweet color-infused art in my home. I grabbed my digital camera and shot about 45 pictures of the least offensive (although if offensive grabs you, by all means, go with it) graffitti I could find.
