Sometimes referred to as the Nobel Prize for architects, the Pritzker Architecture Prize has been awarded annually since 1979.

This years winner is Jean Nouvel of France. The prize honors his body of more than 200 works. His sensational Torre Agbar, located in Barcelona, Spain, is pictured here.
