How to: Track Santa!

Our level of patience regarding one Jolly Old Elf drops as we near his annual visit. The anticipation and excitement are palpable. Long held promises to be good for goodness sake are in need to reinforcement. The strain of listening for sleigh bells in the snow can lead to widespread malaise.

Reports from the field hold that the largest group of Santa's helpers, often disguised as parents, are feeling the pinch as festivities ramp up. The strain of promises not to pout or cry is creating small pockets of social unrest.

Only time and the imminent delivery will provide the cure. Meanwhile the homebound helpers are in need of respite to finish their crucial roles in Santa's plan. Perhaps it's time for a distraction...

NORAD is an alliance formed between Canada and the United States to keep the skies over our continent safe. Once a year, since 1955, these protectors have also been responsible for the safe passage of Santa. There have been significant advances in their tracking systems,which have made sleigh spotting easier and more precise. This new precision offers more thorough reports, but you'll want to have your system in place in advance (like downloading Google Earth for a 3D report). Here's how.
