Edible Christmas Decor

By Kathryne Lynn

I was looking around to find something unique to make for friends and family when I came accross these adorable "Cookie Train's" at the Family Fun website.  So after printing out the directions and made my shopping list, I hastily ran to the store and bought all the ingredients.  I settled down for a few hours making one of these adorable trains.  I was so proud of my hard work, went upstairs to do a few things and when I came downstairs sitting at the table with one of the wheels in her hand and a piece of railroad track hanging out her mouth was my four year old daughter telling me thanks for the yummy train!

Here is a picture I took from the Family Fun website at http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/special/feature/ff1106-gingerbread-train/ .  You will find everything here that you need to make these great decorations that you can look at, or as in my case, eat!  The directions are fantastic and they even provide you with templates that you can download and print out so that cutting out is juffy!   I will definately be making more of these because I think they are a great gift and hopefully I can get a photo taken before someone sneaks a taste of trim or track!
