I am hopelessly untalented when it comes to design so am desperately happy to join this community. I'm a mom to two daughters, a wife to the guy who has the design taste, have two dogs, two cats. And now that I've been on this site for a while, I officially say I'm no longer HOPELESSLY untalented when it comes to design... I'll be talented soon!

Finally! After pictures!

By KatNap Kitchen1

If you saw a loooooooong time ago my before pictures, here's the after photos!  We still have a little touching up to do (where paint was peeled off along with the tape, etc.) but overall we're very excited about how the kitchen now looks.  Except it's the exact color of a post-it note.

The metal chairs are for our guests who are coming tomorrow with "Up with People" the community service, concert troupe that raises money for good causes.  They'll be having a concert for Vanderbilt Children's Hospital on Saturday, March 17th in Nashville, TN.

I put this picture in so hopefully you can see how nicely our post-it yellow (aka cozy cottage) matches the cabinetry.

That's all!  Thanks to Curbly authors and readers for their advice. :)

After the experts removed the wallpaper.  Wow.  You should see the dust we have to clean up now in the kitchen.

We want to paint the kitchen a pale yellow (like a butter yellow), but haven't decided for sure as it's not a unanimous decision.  Our handyman charged $50 less for the job (and fixed our shower » READ MORE

I realy believe most talent comes from experience. The more you work on a design (and make mistakes) the more talented you become. Keep at it. All the best Karen
